This disappoints me a little (I'd like trying to do it all myself), but one cannot dismiss the social benefits of working with other friends and athletes on a common goal. Anyway, it looks like I'm going to do the biking segment in August. I might just have to buy a road bike :)Scott Cannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01876897618212734054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1801527259880503861.post-20246889523364336942011-06-21T09:29:47.866-04:002011-06-21T09:29:47.866-04:00Congrats, welcome to the club, such a rewarding sp...Congrats, welcome to the club, such a rewarding sport. The thing about tri's, everyone is usually good at one or two disciplines and suck at one, Mine is the run as well. And since your competing, back to back to back, you wont really reach your best times from stand alone training. Its all about learning to balance a substain pace to the end. As for the cramps, more then likely is fuel related, its crazy how much water I drink in a day, over a gallon easily to stay hydrated for training for such events. Sounds like you caught the bug, when is the next one.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
